Play is a celebration of creativity and innovation. As our graduates approach the end of their learning journey at Nanyang Polytechnic, the concept symbolises their educational journey as students, challenges as creatives, and memorable moments, whether heartwarming or tear-jerking. Only when they live absurdly, embrace the unconventional and welcome life’s whimsical side, do their inner creatives truly flourish.
Play blends three elements together; bounciness, balloon textures and a unique set of patterns for each cluster.
We chose a bubbly and balloon-esque typeface that celebrates youthfulness and serves as a symbol of playfulness. More playfulness was amplified through unique patterns applied to each cluster with the use of different illustrations to reflect their distinct tone of voice, personality, and behaviour.
To sum it up, Play conveys creativity, innovation, and youth within our educational journeys, resulting in a visually captivating and harmonious representation of all the graduating clusters.
